Michael E. Wildhaber - Senior Attorney and Founder |
Michael E. Wildhaber has been a legal
advocate for veterans since February of 1985, while he
was still attending law school. First, he became an accredited
veterans service representative after beginning work
as a law clerk with Vietnam Veterans of America Legal
Services (VVALS). After graduation from law school he
began work as a staff attorney with VVALS. In August
of 1985 he also began a nine-year association as an attorney
with the National Veterans Legal Services Project (NVLSP).
In early 1994 he resigned from NVLSP to start his own
law practice, The Law Office of Wildhaber & Associates,
PLLC.

Katrina Eagle - Associate Attorney |
Katrina J. Eagle currently is an associate attorney at The Law Office of Wildhaber & Associates, PLLC. Ms. Eagle has been involved with veteran-related issues since 1995. She first represented veterans as a legislative analyst for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Washington, DC. From there, she learned of the legal battles facing veterans, and accepted a position as a law clerk with Vietnam Veterans of America's (VVA) Veterans Benefits Program. After law school, she worked with Health Policy Analysts, a public policy group, where she was able to focus on veteran's health issues, such as Hepatitis C (HCV) and diabetes mellitus. Ultimately, she returned to being a veteran's legal advocate as an associate attorney with The Law Office of Wildhaber & Associates, PLLC in January of 2001.

Diane Boyd Rauber - Of Counsel Associate
Attorney |
Diane Boyd Rauber currently is of counsel
to The Law Office of Wildhaber & Associates, PLLC.
Ms. Boyd Rauber has a long history of helping those in
need. She worked for several years as a teacher, aiding
children that are deaf or hard of hearing. After later
moving to the legal field, she continued to help those
in need. She worked representing health-care clients and
has served as a court appointed special advocate for local
children. Over the years she also has advocated on behalf
of veterans and has gained substantial experience representing
veterans and their families before the U.S. Court of Appeals
for Veterans Claims and Board of Veterans’ Appeals.
Along with her legal work helping health-care patients
and children, her work continues in the area of veterans
benefits law and appeals.

Rachel Amy Putterman - Of Counsel Associate
Attorney |
Rachel Amy Putterman currently is of counsel
to The Law Office of Wildhaber & Associates, PLLC.
She has substantial legal experience in aiding those in
need. In addition to her work representing veterans with
our law firm, Rachel has dedicated much of her eleven-year
law career to advocating for low-income clients in family
law and housing matters. Most recently, Rachel represented
domestic violence survivors while working at Queens Legal
Services Corporation.

Erin Sawicki - Law Office Manager |
Erin Sawicki joined The Law Office of Wildhaber
& Associates as Office Manager and Bookkeeper in September
2003. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations
of the law office. As Erin gains more experience in the
area of veterans law, she is becoming more involved in
correspondence with our clients and the VA.
Erin was born and raised in South Hadley, Massachusetts
and left New England in 1997 to attend The Elliot School
of International Affairs and The George Washington University
in Washington, D.C. While attending GWU, Erin interned
for a semester with The World Movement for Democracy,
a sister organization to the National Endowment for Democracy.
Ms. Sawicki graduated with her B.S. in 2001, majoring
in International Affairs with a double focus in International
Politics and Latin American Affairs.
Since graduating, Erin moved to Northern Virginia and
currently lives in Alexandria with her husband, Scott,
and their dog Marley. In her free time, she enjoys following
politics and volunteering for the Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society. |
