Mission and Philosophy

The Law Office of Wildhaber & Associates,PLLC established in February 1994, represents the personal endeavor of Michael E. Wildhaber to create and build a law practice with a specific mission: provide affordable, high-quality legal representation to veterans and their families in the area of veterans benefits and related law areas.

In an area of law long ignored by most private attorneys, Michael Wildhaber and his associates are uniquely positioned to provide experienced and thoroughly knowledgeable legal representation in veterans benefits cases. Only in recent years have private attorneys ventured into this new practice area, after Congress created the U.S. Court of Veterans Appeals and repealed much of the attorney-fee restrictions that prevented veterans and their dependants from hiring attorneys. But, when other attorneys were not practicing veterans law, Attorney Wildhaber was.

Attorney Wildhaber's entire legal career, more than 20 years of experience, has been devoted to practicing veterans benefits law. Now, along with his associates, Attorney Wildhaber brings his wealth of veterans law experience to private practice, and is available to represent claimants in the U.S. Court of Veterans Appeals who are appealing adverse decisions of the Board of Veterans' Appeals (BVA).

Complementing The Law Office's emphasis in veterans benefits and appeals is its practice in the related specialty area of cases of medical malpractice and negligence involving the U.S. Department of Veterans Affair's (VA) health care system.
